Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Mühür app, the muhurapp.net pages and the service linked to Mühür tags (the "Service"). The Service is provided by [name of the provider] ("we"). By creating an account you accept these terms. The Turkish version prevails.

Under construction (trial period)

The Service is currently under construction (a trial version) and is not yet fully open. During this period:

• features and tag tiers may change, be added or be removed;
• there may be interruptions for maintenance or updates, and errors may occur;
• the Service is provided "as is" and "as available"; we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

We back up the data regularly; still, keep your own copy of important memories.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from the Service being unavailable or from its errors during this period. This does not limit our liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer; our obligations to protect your personal data apply in full during this period too.

1. Account

Open your account with accurate details and do not share your password. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

You must be at least [minimum age] years old to use the Service.

2. Tags

• Mühür tags are sold separately; purchase, delivery and returns follow the seller’s terms.
• A tag’s tier (AN, ALBÜM, YADİGÂR) sets how much and what kind of content it holds; the tier comes with the tag.
• Scanning a tag in the app links it to your account. You can give a tag and its memory to someone else; once they accept, the tag moves to their account.
• A tag is a physical object: if it is lost or ends up with someone else, whoever scans it can see the memory. That is why you choose the memory’s visibility (public / private).

3. Your content

The photos, audio, videos and texts you upload are yours. You give us permission only to store them, process them (for example to resize them and remove location data) and show them to the people you choose, so that we can provide the Service. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account; the content is also removed from backups within 30 days.

Upload only content you have the right to share. Getting permission from people whose image or voice is in your content is your responsibility.

4. Prohibited content and use

• unlawful content; abuse or sexualisation of children (reported to the authorities),
• hate speech, harassment, threats or glorification of violence,
• sharing other people’s personal data or private images without permission,
• content that infringes copyright or other rights,
• any use that harms or overloads the Service, its servers or other users, or tries to get around its security.

Public memories can be reported with the "Report this memory" link on the page or in the app. We review reports and may remove content that breaks these terms, block the tag or close the account.

5. Availability of the Service

We provide the Service with care and back up the data regularly, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change the Service. If we have to end it, we will tell you in advance and give you reasonable time to download your content.

We recommend keeping your own copy of important memories; "Download my data" in the app is there for that.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the Service. [Scope of liability — to be settled after legal review]

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

7. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile, or at muhurapp.net/account/delete.

We may close your account if you break these terms seriously or repeatedly.

8. Changes

When we update these terms we publish the new version on this page and announce important changes in the app. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. [Competent courts and enforcement offices] have jurisdiction; as a consumer you may also apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts.
